Game Over

This blog will no longer in use. My blogging activity has shifted to:

Curated Stuff, my regular sketch blog, which can be found here.
and
Head Candy, a blog for my other creative and artistic antics, which can be found here.

Do check them out, if you can.

In the years that Mind Bullets has been uh "active", it has been a medium to vent caustically and put up odd surreal things. It was also banned from some college networks (score!) and won me a few followers (bless them), which is way more than an I anticipated. Especially since it started out as an inside joke.

Here's another bewildering thing to look at (for old time's sake):

Many thanks to all who used to stop by. You all have terrible taste.

As you can see, this blog is now caught in an infinite loop.

Ctrl+Z

Long ago, in a distant land, I Aku, The Shape-Shifting Master of Darkness unleashed an unspeakable evil. But a foolish samurai wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me.

Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future where my evil is law. Now the Fool seeks to return to the past and ctrl+z the future that is Aku!

Nut-Shell, Volume 2: Prophecies

  • Extinction of the human race is imminent.
  • The Internet is a passing fad.
  • If all your base are not belong to us, all your base will soon belong to us.
  • The forward-thinking people of the world will soon uproot and live on a newly created tropical island where no government has or ever will be established; and be merry.
  • If population explosion is not checked, the human race will devolve.
  • People will forcibly learn to relax when money becomes useless.
  • Hoverboards will soon revolutionize personal transport.
  • Once technology can be used to manipulate dreams, people will no longer have any need to be awake.
  • There will never be a resurgence of the Spice Girls.
  • When we learn to use the force, life will be righteous.
  • If you build it, they will come.

Nut-Shell, Volume 1: Personal Axioms

  • Resistance is futile.
  • The best way to convince people they are not living in the Matrix is to make a movie about it.
  • The Great Pumpkin is real.
  • There is no wrong time to have a bath.
  • God is the answer when we cannot find the answer.
  • It doesn't matter.
  • Cyan, Magenta and Beige are imaginary colours.
  • Unlike other times, at the end of the day, people are assholes.
  • Things are not what they seem.
  • Only The Strong Survive (O.T.S.S)
  • Men are like oysters.
  • Human beings are perhaps the only creatures to ignore the path of least resistance whenever possible.
  • There is a car that runs on water.
  • Reality is frequently inaccurate.
  • No civilized man regrets a pleasure.
  • The Golden Age of human existence has already passed.
  • No one is innocent.

Wondering

Did anyone else notice that people don't know how to wonder anymore? I think that an unforeseen side-effect of having information at our fingertips is the loss of one of life's little joys: the art of wondering. Inserted good copy here. It is thoroughly well researched and presented in a succinct and logical way. It is inspiring, intelligent and affecting to such an extent that it draws you in and engages your mind for the next few minutes. Ok stop wondering.

There is a joy in not knowing something, and having no way of finding out. To think and attack with thoughts from different angles. No more why-is-the-sky-blue-shit. "Fucking google it." seems to be the answer to everything. We can no longer wonder about realistic things, the information is out there, served on a platter. The only things we have left to wonder about is obviously the unexplainable, Beck's lyrics, and the what if's. And that isn't a very large number of topics to wonder about, specially since what if's are out of bounds.

When they said ignorance is bliss, it wasn't an excuse for being ignorant, but an accurate description of the joy of not knowing. The ignobels of the world have richer thoughts than the over-educated. The skepticism of the unexplained is disappearing- The unexplained itself is disappearing. That's why we are entertained when Dr. Dorian tilts his head and gazes unto himself. That's why the sun doesn't set in Arizona. That's why John Connor doesn't kill Kyle Reese and why Neo takes the red pill.

Minimalism

Less is more, more or less.
Nothing will ever be less (or more) than nothing.
